Clinical Approach
My work is psychodynamic and relational, grounded in an understanding of emotional development, personality, and unconscious patterns.
Rather than applying the same intervention to everyone with the same diagnosis, I tailor treatment based on how each person’s mind works.
For example:
One boy’s behavioral problems may reflect emotional overwhelm and difficulty expressing dependency.
Another may be struggling with rigid self-control, shame, or fear of failure.
Two adolescents with ADHD may require entirely different therapeutic approaches depending on temperament, family dynamics, and inner experience.
With children, therapy integrates:
play and symbolic expression
emotional observation and containment
collaboration with parents
With adolescents and adults, therapy explores:
emotional patterns and defenses
relationships and attachment
inner criticism, guilt, and identity conflict
meaning, purpose, and psychological growth
